Intel® PAT v4.1 was A Big Attraction at IDF San Francisco

Intel Develop Forum (IDF) recently had a grand opening in San Francisco. On the IDF, Intel Software and Services Group (SSG) brought forth the latest achievements of its software research & development. Amongst all these achievements, the preview edition of Intel® Platform Administration Technology v4.1 (Intel® PAT v4.1) attracted a large number of visitors. Intel Sign Agreement with Colorful on Intel® PAT Collaboration
Shenzhen, PRC, July 10 2008-Intel and Colorful, one of the famous PC hardware manufacturer in PRC, reached software license agreement on Intel® Platform Administration Technology cooperation. Colorful will support Intel® PAT latest versions on its C.G31T, C.P3 (Intelligent i-Caf edition), C.P43 X5, C.P45 X7 motherboards. Intel announced the Intel® Platform Administration Technology (Intel® PAT) 4.0 launch at CISIS.
Intel® PAT 4.0 adopts a new brand of architecture that supports a wide range of Intel architecture-based computer products, including the newest 45nm technology and products. The Intel® PAT 4.0 allows mainstream motherboard manufacturers to enable Intel® Platform Administration Technology on most of their motherboards, offering more cost-effective choices for users. While satisfying the demands of partners and customers, the Intel® PAT 4.0 is more flexible, easy-to-use and scalable in installation and application. In addition, it has new features such as support for Intel® Active Management Technology (AMT), cross WAN management, full support for the latest Intel architecture and easy modularized installation.
Intel-MSI agreement signing ceremony
At CISIS, Intel signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with its strategic partner Micro-Star Inc (MSI). MSI is working with Intel to promote Intel® PAT. MSI will enable Intel® PAT 4.0 on its motherboards, which will be tested and validated by Intel® PAT and will be sold in the global market. The first MSI P45 model of Intel® PAT enabled motherboards will be on the market in June with other models available soon.

Intel® PAT 3.0 launched in Beijing
PRC Intel China unveiled Intel® PAT 3.0, the newest platform manageability solution for China's iCafe industry, in Beijing on September 12. Attending the press conference were Intel SMG Vice President and General Manager of Asia-Pacific Yang Ian, Director of Intel China Software Center EMP SSG Yeung Minerva, and Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) General Manager Yang Kevin, including other industry representatives as well as members of the media. Intel®PAT was one of the hottest displays at ChinaJoy event
The 3rd annual ChinaJoy was held in the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center from July 20th to 23rd. ChinaJoy is a yearly event and is the biggest game exposition in China.

Intel®PAT win the excellent software honor
Intel® Platform Administration Technology recently won the Most Excellent Software Award at the Chinese International Software and Information Services Fair. This was the first time that an Intel product has won this honor.
