Intel® System Recovery Tool
Intel® System Recovery Tool is a value-added built-in software component for hardware device. It provides easy-to-use interface for system backup and recovery. It aims at home users who want to quickly and simply protect their systems with its personal configuration, as well as small business owners/IT administrators that want to conveniently deploy uniform software configurations to their multiple business computers.

Intel® System Recovery Tool 1.5 Usage Model

Back up your computer after installing OS and all your favorite applications. Plug in the System Recovery USB Key, press F10 when PC boots up, and enter USB Recovery Tool UI.
 
Click Backup button, to quickly record your current healthy system into USB device.
 
When system crashes, plug in the System Recovery USB Key, press F10 when PC boots up, and enter USB Recovery Tool UI.
 
Click Restore button, to recover the system and data from previous backup file.
 

Intel® System Recovery Tool 1.5 FAQ

Q1: If expected backup data exceeds 2GB, what should I do?
A1: You can backup system to another USB storage device which has enough space.

Q2: I accidentally formatted the Intel® SRT USB key, what should I do?
A2: If your USB key is still able to enter USB Recovery Tool UI, it is still working normally. If not, you can contact the retailer who provides the USB key for a fix.

Q3: Can Intel® System Recovery Tool v1.5 run on any environment?
A3: No, currently, Intel® System Recovery Tool v1.5 can run on Intel® Desktop Board DG31PR & DG41RQ & D945GCLF & D945GCLF2D environment.

Q4: I have connected my portable USB hard disk during backup, why I do not see its partitions listed in the user interface?
A4: Intel® SRT supports large size USB storage device as backup destination, but make sure this device has at least one FAT32 partition.
